Camila is a Peruvian vocalist and musician blending Latin Jazz, Latin American Folk, and pop. Based in Toronto, she draws inspiration from her Peruvianroots and the city’s diverse cultural scene. Leading a dynamic project, she collaborates with various musicians to create performances rich in rhythm, harmony, and storytelling.
A graduate of Humber College’s Bachelor of Music program, Camila has a strong foundation in vocal performance and interpretation. She was named Artist of the Year at the T.U. Jazz Festival’s 10th-anniversary edition in 2024 and has performed at NXNE Festival, Mississauga Latin Festival, WinterTide Concert, Small World Center and more, earning recognition for her expressive voice and engaging stage presence. This upcoming September 2026, she will begin her studies in Music & Health (Music Therapy) at the University of Toronto, bringing her love for music into new spaces of healing and connection.
Passionate about Latin American music, she enjoys arranging and interpreting songs that celebrate its traditions. She values collaboration and often works with musicians from diverse backgrounds to create fresh and compelling musical experiences. Camila strives to honor tradition while embracing innovation, offering a sound that is both rooted and evolving.
